The First Post

Welcome to all of those reading this! This blog is written by me, a 26 year old recovering addict living in the Greater Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Area! I'll be updating this blog periodically to include my thoughts, and views, on recovery and how it's effecting my life as a whole. I'll also be writing my complete and full story at some point along the lines to give you readers more insight about where I've come from and how drug addiction has effected my life as a whole.

I'm currently working through the Narcotics Anonymous Program with my sponsor. I also regularlly attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings! I'm a recovering addict putting forth real effort this time in my recovery. I'm trying to apply the HOW of the program to my daily life, which is and always will be an uphill battle. More on that later.

I'm by no means a professional writer, and my grammar and english composition skills probably have much to be improved on. However, I am giving you some insight to how I'm recovering and what is working for me.

If you suffer from addiction, I have one thing to say... There IS HOPE. I promise you this. It's a tough battle, and addiction is a cunning enemy. If you don't get clean, you will eventually end up in jail, a mental institution, or you will die. However you're fourth choice is to get clean. You can do it. With the support of Narcotics Anonymous, I got clean. I surrounded myself with people that are clean and are choosing a new way of life. Choose a new way of life and join me on my journey! I promise you wont be disappointed!
